Core Technology: Operator-Assisted Sealing

1. Manual Product Placement

The operator puts the single product/ multi-pack setup on the seal table and slides the setup into the film and slots it into the sealing area (the L-Sealer is often an L-shaped slot).

2. Automated Sealing Cycle

After positioning the product, the operator triggers the sealing cycle (through a foot pedal or a push button). The sealing arm automatically lowers, cuts the film, and seals the edges by means of heat and pressure. The rate and the temperature of the sealing wire are regulated to a fine tune to create a sturdy, clean seam.

3. Automatic Shrink Tunnel Feed

Once it has been sealed, the product is then automatically loaded into the shrink tunnel (usually through a motorized conveyor belt). In this case, the film is shrunk in place by heat (air or electric) around the contours of the product, producing a secure, attractive package that can be palletized or shelved.
