1. Servo-Driven Dispensing Head

It is powered by a high-resolution servo motor. The technology enables dynamic and instantaneous changes in speed so that the label web will keep pace with the speed of the product on the conveyor without label tearing or misplacement.

2. Automated Sensor Suite

The machine has sophisticated sensors to control two important functions:

  • Product Sensing (Photoelectric/Ultrasonic): Scans the precise location of the container to label it, and is able to work with clear, opaque, or glossy labels.
  • Gap/Label Sensing: One of the special sensors determines the distance between labels on the backing paper so that only single labels are cut off and dispensed.

3. Synchronization & Handling

In high-speed rotary models, containers are directed softly, although firmly, in a star-wheel indexer and timing screw system to the labeling station. In linear models, synchronized conveyors are used to maintain the flow of products. The handling system is also very precise, allowing no tipping and getting the label in contact with the product surface at the appropriate angle.
